Vintage shops have so many treasures. I mean, how great were the 1970's and 1980's in term of fashion?

For those who don't want the total retro chic MK look, there's always great accessories to find. Watch out for bag, shoes, scarves and belts !

Plus: Celine's Classic it-bag seems to be coming directly from a vintage shop. Phoebe Philo must have been inspired by her grandma's 1950' bag (found one at Archangel Antiques for $65).

Anyway, here's some of my favourite vintage addresses for the moment:

Local Clothing (found an adorable pair of red heels for $30 - 328E 9th st.): great choice of shoes and boots + 1980's jumpsuit

Archangel Antiques (334E 9th st.) : fur collars (oh so very Chanel's fall 2010 scandinavian inspiration) and vintage portaits, jewels & watches.

Cobblestones (314E 9th st. How great is 9th st !): vast collection of shoes and great little hats.

Rue St. Denis (170 avenue B, between 10th&11th st.): watch out for vintage Chanel skirt, YSL heels and Givenchy coat!

NY, Day 1

I always wanted to find a blog that shared great shopping addresses in every city Im currently visiting.
And then, why not doing it myself, rather than wait for it? That's when the idea of blogging came along.
I want this blog to share my shopping experiences, such as great stores, vintage shops, and why not great coffee places and bars.

I have one month in NY to discover everything the city has to offer.
